The John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach® (JFB MFR®) is a gentle, hands-on therapy designed to release restrictions in the fascia—the connective tissue that supports muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. Using sustained, low-pressure techniques, this approach helps eliminate pain, restore motion, and improve overall body function. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs, focusing on the whole body and the connections between different areas. Unlike more forceful therapies, JFB MFR® works with your body at its own pace, promoting deep, lasting relief and supporting both physical and emotional well-being.

Fascial Stretch Therapy™ (FST), developed by Ann and Chris Frederick and taught through the Stretch to Win Institute, is a table-assisted stretching system that targets the fascia—the connective tissue surrounding muscles, bones, and joints—to improve mobility, flexibility, and overall body function. Performed on a treatment table with gentle traction and controlled movements, FST is pain-free, non-invasive, and designed to calm the nervous system while opening joint space and releasing tension. This whole-body approach treats the body as an interconnected system, often providing immediate improvements in range of motion, posture, and comfort. With regular sessions, FST builds cumulative benefits, supporting long-term flexibility, performance, and overall physical well-being.

Manual Lymphatic Therapy, often called Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), is a gentle, therapeutic massage technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid throughout the body. Using light, rhythmic strokes, this precise approach targets lymph nodes and vessels to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. MLD is especially beneficial after surgery or injury, for chronic conditions such as lymphedema, fibromyalgia, or rheumatoid arthritis, and in oncology care following lymph node removal. By enhancing lymphatic flow, this therapy can also boost immune function, support healing, and improve overall comfort and tissue health.

Traditional Swedish Massage is a classic, hands-on therapy designed to promote overall relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve circulation. Using smooth, flowing strokes combined with kneading, friction, and gentle stretching, this approach helps reduce stress, ease discomfort, and support general well-being.
*Swedish Massage is only offered when paired with at least one of the other modalities for 90 minute or 120 minute sessions.

Loose, comfortable clothing is best—especially for Myofascial Release and Fascial Stretching sessions. This allows for ease of movement and optimal results.
Yes. I’ve received specialized training to safely and effectively release the muscles inside the mouth that contribute to TMJ tension and discomfort.
It varies from person to person. Some clients notice mild soreness as the body adjusts, while others feel immediate relief or improvement in their original symptoms.
Hydration is key. It’s recommended to drink roughly half your body weight in ounces of water over the next 24 hours to support your body’s natural detoxification process.
